Dr Jan Hill-Tout Jan Hill-Tout is a chartered clinical psychologist who has extensive clinical experience and particular skills in relation to organisational development. Since setting up JHT Associates 9 years ago she has undertaken projects in both statutory and voluntary agencies, focusing in particular on helping senior managers to review structures and processes in changing environments. In addition Jan has experience of examining the impact of organisational life on the health and well-being of staff. A clear organisational thinker, Jan is a very experienced facilitator who is committed to making work better for personnel at all levels.
Jo Soldan Jo Soldan is a clinical psychologist with extensive experience in a range of medical settings. She has a special interest in the impact of medical conditions on individuals, families and teams and has developed a particular understanding of the health care systems that support these patients. Through this specialisation Jo has developed expertise in team building, training in psychological aspects of care, individual and group staff support, and de-briefing. Since qualifying Jo has worked in a variety of settings, including Medical Genetics, Chronic Pain and Intensive Care and is also experienced in the clinical supervision of cancer care nurses.
Prof. Neil Frude Neil Frude is a chartered clinical psychologist who works for part of his time as Clinical Research Tutor. He is a Fellow of the British Psychological Society and has authored and edited a number of books as well as publishing papers in a wide range of academic and professional journals. Neil has long been involved in training and consultation. Most of this training has been given to professionals in the health service and social services. In recent years he has also developed a number of instruments for the measurement of various aspects of change in individuals and organisations.
Lynne Gillison-Kirkham Lynne Gillison-Kirkham is a psychologist and counsellor. She has a good track record of working in organisations to bring about systemic changes on the ground, and is skilled at working with groups. She is also an experienced trainer and has delivered courses on a range of issues including stress awareness and management. In addition Lynne has particular expertise in relation to employee assistance programmes and is a trained and experienced counsellor.
Kathy Phillips Kathy Phillips has worked as a Secretary/Personal Assistant for many years prior to joining JHT Associates. Her work has taken her into diverse fields such as food manufacturing, accountancy, parliament and aircraft design. Kathy has extensive knowledge of a range of computer packages including Word Processing, Excel spreadsheets, Powerpoint and Access database. She has taught IT subjects, and is currently an examiner in Word and Text Processing and Business Presentations (Powerpoint). In addition Kathy has extensive knowledge of Sage Accounts and TAS computer based accounting systems, together with VAT and payroll.
Jenny McBride Jenny McBride is a Consultant Clinical Psychologist and Head of Counselling Services in Primary Care, Cardiff & Vale NHS Trust. Jenny has worked in South Wales as a Clinical Psychologist since 1986 within the Adult Mental Health Speciality. She also has been a tutor for the South Wales Doctoral Course in Clinical Psychology. She was appointed in March 2000 to implement, co-ordinate and evaluate a 2-year pilot Counselling in Primary Care project in Eastern Cardiff and in March 2001 ran a similar one year project in the Vale. Jenny has also for the last ten years been involved in supporting NHS staff who require access to counselling services. She has a special interest in clinical supervision and consultancy both to individuals and organisations. Jenny acts as an advisor to JHT Associates in relation to counselling issues.
Peter Townend Peter Townend is currently working as an IT Project Officer with the Community University of the Valleys East and the WEA. His base is in Tredegar, Blaenau Gwent, South Wales. He previously worked in the public and private health services providing both information mangement and general administration. He worked for 10 years in Cardiff with the Ely Hospital Resettlement Team and was closely involved in the resettlement of people from a long stay hospital back into the community. Prior to this Peter worked in the voluntary housing sector. Peter studied Fine Art at Newcastle Upon Tyne Polytechnic. He successfully completed his PGCE at University of Wales Institute Cardiff in 2004. Currently he working toward a European Studies degree with the Open University.
